Download stuff help

Hey Every body.

I have a Download problem. If i download something firefox freezes.
Any help?


Like when i download something. A download window pops up and freezes my computer.
It takes about 5 mins to close it

please help?? i want to start downloading agian



p.s

i heard that mcafee(my anti virus) is having trouble but that was a month ago... is that maybe the cause?
and how do i fix? :O

Get a different anti virus and a different browser?

I recommend Google Chrome.

try getting malwarebytes, and do a full system scan, if that doesnt work, un-install firefox, (save any files you want) and reinstall. if neither of those work, get free download manager, free download manager also lets you install things 4x faster.
